A MAC tackle (Media Entry Management tackle) is a novel identifier assigned to community interfaces for communication on bodily networks. MAC addresses are used within the Media Entry Management (MAC) layer of the OSI mannequin and are used for community units similar to computer systems, routers, and switches to determine and talk with one another on a community.
